terms and conditions

In addition to holiday autos standard terms and conditions, the following terms and conditions apply to holiday autos van rentals:

Personal accident insurance (PAI).
Additional non-mandatory insurances.
Insurance exclusions - see the relevant insurance sections.
Fuel: a deposit is often payable for fuel and is usually refunded if the van is returned with a full tank. Fuel policies vary. Please check when you pick up your van.
Garaging, tolls, congestion charges, parking and traffic fines.
Additional drivers charges where applicable - please check online or with our reservations department at the time of booking. These charges are payable locally.
Delivery and collection of your van can be arranged during normal working hours. There may be a charge for this.
Out of hours charges.
Optional extras.
One-way rental charges where applicable.
Young drivers charges where applicable.

The driver must be over the age of 21 years old.
A young driver surcharge will apply to all drivers under the age of 23 which is payable at the time of collecting your van. Details of the charge applicable will be detailed in your booking voucher.
A young driver sur-charge of £7.65 will apply to all drivers under the age of 23.
Drivers must hold and produce at van rental collection a full national driving licence from their country of residence for at least one year. (In some cases an International driving permit maybe required, please check the important information at the time of booking)
It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence.
Our reservations agent must be informed of any endorsements on the driver's licence, as we may not be able to take your booking.
No refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non-production of a driving licence or non-disclosed endorsements.
Faxed or photocopied licences are not acceptable.

A charge for an additional driver will be payable when you collect your van. Details of the charge applicable will be detailed in your booking voucher

All vans will be fuelled on picking up. On returning all vans to location they must be returned full, or a re-fuelling charge will apply.

Delivery and collection can only be organised by booking your van hire through our call centre. The minimum is £10.00 for first 10 miles and then £1 per mile there after. All vehicles are on request.

The charge for domestic one way rental is £100. International and overseas one way is not available.

For just £5.50 per rental week, holiday autos will waive your liability to pay any cancellation charges if you are unable to honour your van hire booking prior to the collection date. If you wish to purchase this contractual waiver charge, you must do so at the time of booking

Our Standard Damage Excess Waiver and Total Damage Excess Waiver products are not available on van hire.

Baby, infant and booster seats for children up to the age of 12 years old are available to book for a charge. The charge applicable is payable locally and will be outlined at the time of making your booking
All child/baby/booster seats must be fitted by the renter themselves due to van rental provider not being insured to do so.
