" Driving in and around Bern is made a little tricky by the fact that much of the city centre is pedestrianised. But don't worry. There are a number of designated parking spots in the city and you can pick up a permit for these at a railway station, tourist office or from a police station. Bern isn't the biggest city, so you'll probably find there's a parking space close to where you want to get to anyway! "
