A
few weeks ago we asked… “which US city
would you most like to visit, and why?”
Perhaps you want to become a real-life cowboy in Texas, or perhaps
you just want to know what it’d be like to be sleepless
in Seattle?
Ray Fletcher is
obviously a big fan of the TV programme “The O.C”,
as he seemed to have his heart set on San Diego,
and more specifically the California sun, Sea World and the
famous San Diego Zoo. Others among you, like George Ballywilliam,
clearly can’t get enough of those little DIY chores
and fancied a short trip to Washington, just to double check,
“if the White House needs another coat of white paint!!”
Boston
and New York were also firm favorites, with
Ian Campbell and Nanny Bea looking forward to the culinary
delights of Boston tea and clam chowder; whilst Kim Seeley
and Rita Mistry were keen to burn off those calories in the
only way you’d want to in New York, as Kim puts it,
“I’d shop, shop, shop until I couldn't shop anymore.”
The
clear winner had to be Paul Ford who’ll be 40 next year,
and in his wife’s words, “would love to wear an
Elvis wig with a tight leather jacket and trousers, whilst
singing Suspicious Minds on the Las Vegas
