car rental company holiday autos has launched a new ‘wedding wheels' package offering luxury car hire as an alternative to the traditional wedding car with a chauffeur. A top-of-the-range Lexus, Jaguar or Mercedes is priced from just £65* per day.
Marketing Manager Matthew Cunliffe said: “ Wedding cars are a costly element of any nuptials, with firms charging upwards of £200 for three hours hire of a vehicle and driver. Renting a ‘ Wedding Wheels' prestige car from Holiday Autos for the whole day - or longer - offers an attractive, cost-effective alternative. A friend or relative can act as chauffeur for the big event and the car can be used in the build-up to and after the wedding, ferrying around relatives and dropping the happy couple at the airport.”
For the bride - or groom - who wants to get to the church on time a Porsche Boxster sports car is priced at £186* per day; a Porsche 996 is £237* per day and a Ferrari 360 Spyder costs £515* per day.
